Polycarbonate Containers

Polycarbonate plastic containers are great for a wide variety of storage purposes, from storing large amounts of dry food to storing arts and crafts supplies and stationery. With matching lids for each container, they're great for long term storage solutions, as you don't have to worry about the contents of the container being exposed or getting dusty.

These containers are made from high-quality polycarbonate plastic, the strongest plastic of them all, making them perfect for those worried about the durability of the container. They are virtually unbreakable, therefore the ideal choice for outdoor event storage, in schools or around children, where broken glass or plastic would be a nightmare to clean up.

Polycarbonate is dishwasher safe, therefore these containers can be quickly washed in the dishwasher between uses. However, due to the size of the different storage containers, they can also be hand washed if necessary. Ensure the containers are fully dry before using them again.

Araven Airtight Food Containers

Aravan airtight polypropylene food storage containers come in a range of sizes and capacities. Gastronorm compatible they are indispensable in any kitchen. The Araven airtight containers feature a double air tight seal for total protection of the food being stored. The food containers come complete with lids and are able to withstand both hot and freezing temperatures. Polypropylene is one of the most popular plastics in catering due to its rigidity and long life. The Araven gastronorm compatible airtight containers are able to withstand temperatures from minus 40 degrees C to plus 95 degrees C without weakening the container. Colour coded clips are included with all the containers to avoid cross contamination of red meat, poultry, fish, vegetables and allergens. Colour coding not only prevents cross contamination in the kitchen it also aids organisation and creates a quick visual aid. The specially designed rounded edges of the Aravan food containers avoids the accumulation of remains of food in the corners which both prevents contamination and aids cleaning. Araven FIFO Containers

Araven FIFO (first in, first out) ingredient bins are designed for the perfect storage and optimum food preservation. These containers have the maximum hygiene and the strictest control of raw materials. These bins are ideal for storing food with very low levels of humidity, such as nuts, pasta, rice and flour. The Araven FIFO container closes to keep contents protected and keep humidity out.

The ingredient storage bin should be stored in dry and well ventilated locations, away from heat and moisture. FIFO bins have two openings, the top lid is for filling the container and the front lid is for removing ingredients. This ensures the correct rotation of food, ensuring the oldest food is used first, which also helps to cut down on food waste management.

Araven Food Storage

Aravan food storage containers come in a range to suit your needs from a simple storage box to a 60 litre commercial food storage box with wheels, sturdy handle and permanent labelling. Araven have been the choice of commercial kitchen for over 20 years.

The food storage boxes come in both transparent and white plastic. Transparent boxes are best for in kitchen use where you want to quickly see the contents of the box. White storage boxes are designed for use where the food is to be transported such as to an outdoor catering event. Araven have a 40 litre box 830 x 460 x 180mm which is ideal for transporting finished products such as sandwiches or cakes.
