Description
- Made from beech wood
- Flattens dough
- Comfortable grip for user
- Cost-effective price
The wooden beech datta is a kitchen tool primarily used for preparing Indian flatbreads like roti, chapati, and paratha. It's essentially a rolling pin with a flat base, featuring a handle on one end. The datta is used to flatten the dough to a thin, round shape before cooking it on a tawa or griddle.
The beech wood material is a popular choice for dattas due to its durability, strength, and ability to withstand heat and moisture. It also provides a comfortable grip for the user. Do not soak the datta when cleaning it, as this can warp and ruin the wood. Instead, wipe it clean and ensure it is fully dry before using it again.
