The Robert Gordon Adelaide Birch Fry Cup 8.9 x 7.6cm / 23.65cl is a stylish and contemporary serving vessel designed to elevate the presentation of chips, sides, snacks, and appetisers in professional hospitality environments. Perfect for restaurants, gastro pubs, cafés, hotels, bars, and catering venues, this compact fry cup combines the handcrafted aesthetic of the Adelaide Birch collection with the durability required for everyday commercial use.
Measuring 8.9cm in diameter, 7.6cm in height, and offering a 23.65cl capacity, this fry cup is perfectly sized for serving individual portions of chips, fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, wedges, tempura vegetables, and other side dishes. Its compact footprint makes it particularly suitable for modern gastropub and casual dining presentations where side orders are served separately to enhance visual appeal and portion control.
Part of the popular Adelaide Birch range, the fry cup features an embossed porcelain body finished with Robert Gordon’s signature reactive Birch glaze. The collection is recognised for its artisan-inspired appearance, characterised by soft creamy-white tones, subtle crackled effects, and natural clay hues that show through the glaze. A contrasting brown reactive-glazed rim adds warmth and visual definition, helping to enhance food presentation and create an inviting tabletop display.
Manufactured from high-quality commercial-grade stoneware, the fry cup provides excellent durability and resistance to the demands of busy foodservice operations. The robust construction ensures long-lasting performance while maintaining its attractive appearance through repeated use and washing.
The embossed surface texture and reactive glaze create subtle variations between pieces, ensuring each fry cup has its own unique character. This handcrafted look adds authenticity to table settings and complements contemporary, rustic, and artisan-inspired dining concepts.
Beyond serving chips and fries, the versatile design is ideal for presenting breadsticks, crudités, snacks, sharing accompaniments, and tasting menu components. Its upright profile allows for creative presentation while helping maximise table space. Designed for professional practicality, the fry cup is dishwasher safe, supporting efficient cleaning and quick turnaround during service.
Supplied in a pack of 24, the Robert Gordon Adelaide Birch Fry Cup offers a distinctive and practical serving solution for venues looking to create memorable food presentations with premium artisan-style tableware.
