Polycarbonate is a great solution for buffets and other busy areas as it is virtually unbreakable. Polycarbonate is a strong, durable plastic able to withstand the knocks and bangs of a busy commercial kitchen to give a long useful life. It is comfortable in a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C making it a flexible choice.
PLEASE NOTE: This is just the lid, it fits on 1/2 gastronorm pans which are sold separately and can be bought here. It can also fit 1/2 gastronorm chafing dishes, sold separately and available here.
The roll top lid opening makes this a great accessory for venues that serve buffets, such as restaurants and hotels. The roll top opening also allows the food to remain cool/warm, depending on the ideal serving temperature. It also keeps the food covered when it's not been served, which is great for those that want to keep their food covered.
To wash your polycarbonate domed lid, handwashing is recommended. Simply wash it with warm, soapy water and ensure it is fully dry before using it again.

Delivery
Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.
Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service.
All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.
Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.

Returning items purchased online
If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of delivery and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition. Please note you are required to arrange the transport of the return to us and cover any cost associated. We recommend that you use a tracked method to ensure this reaches us. We accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen or undelivered packages. Please also put a note containing your order number in the package with the items.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.
Special Orders In the event that an item ordered is not currently in stock, or if the quantity ordered exceeds our standard inventory levels, a restocking fee may be applied. This fee covers the costs associated with procuring and handling the special order. The restocking fee will not exceed 30% of the total value of the affected items. By proceeding with the order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.
If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
