A knock box is a small container that is used to dispose of used coffee grounds in coffee shops. It is usually placed underneath the coffee grinder so that the grounds can be easily disposed of without making a mess.
To use a knock box, grind your coffee beans as usual. Once you have finished grinding, hold the filter holder in one hand and use the other hand to knock the knock box. This will cause the used grounds to fall into the knock box. You can then dispose of the grounds in the bin or compost bin.
Knock boxes are an essential tool for any coffee shop that serves espresso drinks. They help to keep the work area clean and also prevent the spread of bacteria. This knock box is 16 x 15 x 17cm and made from stainless steel, further boosting the hygiene of the box and ease of use.
To clean your knock box, first empty it and dispose of all the used coffee grounds. Rinse the box with clean water first, then use dish soap and a clean sponge to clean out any stuck coffee grounds. Dry the knock box immediately to prevent water stains and rust.

Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.
Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service.
All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.
Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.

Returning items purchased online
If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of delivery and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition. Please note you are required to arrange the transport of the return to us and cover any cost associated. We recommend that you use a tracked method to ensure this reaches us. We accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen or undelivered packages. Please also put a note containing your order number in the package with the items.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.
Special Orders In the event that an item ordered is not currently in stock, or if the quantity ordered exceeds our standard inventory levels, a restocking fee may be applied. This fee covers the costs associated with procuring and handling the special order. The restocking fee will not exceed 30% of the total value of the affected items. By proceeding with the order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.
If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
