The Black Alpro Steel toe cap shoe’s enclosed design and nonslip treaded sole offer reliable grip in kitchens and the food industry. Its steel toe cap can protect toes from impacts of up to 200 joules of energy. Made from oil and grease-resistant material, the shoe is also water-resistant, allowing it to be cleaned quickly and easily.
Hygiene is extremely important in food preparation environments so the Alpro Steel toe cap shoe is suitable for daily disinfection to prevent any germs or bacteria lingering. Kitchen staff and other professionals are often stood for long periods of time which can potentially cause pain and even lasting damage. A cleverly shaped the footbed of the shoe to ensure that it protects the user’s joints and tendons throughout use. The footbed is also replaceable and removable for easy cleaning at to 30° Celsius.
The A 640 model is certified in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2011 SB E (SRC category).
Materials:
Polyurethane, also known as PU, is a synthetic material ideally suited for use outdoors. The material is water-repellent and dirt-resistant and extremely easy to care for.
Insole: Suede. The flexible leather lining, which is gentle on the skin, nestles up softly against your foot and adjusts to its contour. The open-pored and thus very breathable surface makes for a comfortable foot climate, even during more strenuous physical activity.
Footbed material: Cork. Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Outsole: Polyurethane. Polyurethane, also known as PU, is a synthetic material ideally suited for use outdoors. It is water-repellent and dirt-resistant and very easy to care for.This involves removing the cork-latex footbed and washing the clog at up to 80° Celsius.

Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.
Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service.
All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.
Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.

Returning items purchased online
If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of delivery and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition. Please note you are required to arrange the transport of the return to us and cover any cost associated. We recommend that you use a tracked method to ensure this reaches us. We accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen or undelivered packages. Please also put a note containing your order number in the package with the items.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.
Special Orders In the event that an item ordered is not currently in stock, or if the quantity ordered exceeds our standard inventory levels, a restocking fee may be applied. This fee covers the costs associated with procuring and handling the special order. The restocking fee will not exceed 30% of the total value of the affected items. By proceeding with the order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.
If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
