The Metaltex Futura Non Stick Splatter Screen / Guard, sometimes known as a grease guard or fry guard, is used to prevent hot oil and grease from splattering while cooking. Splatter guards are especially useful for cooking foods that tend to splatter, such as bacon, sausage, steak, and seafood. They can also be used to protect your skin from burns and your kitchen surfaces from messes.

To use a splatter guard, simply place it over the pot or pan that you are cooking in. Make sure that the guard is large enough to cover the entire surface of the pot or pan and that it is sitting level. Once the guard is in place, you can begin cooking as usual. This splatter guard measures 29cm around, so can be used on pans the same size or smaller.

Besides shielding you from splatters, the mesh screen can also double as a strainer. Place it over a pot or bowl to drain pasta, rinse fruits and vegetables, or sift flour and other dry ingredients. The non-stick surface makes it easy to clean and prevents food from sticking while straining.

Delivery

Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.

Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service. 

All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.

Returning items purchased online

If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of the sale and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.

If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.

If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
