In busy kitchen environments and hospitality venues, plate covers help to keep food and ingredients safe from potential airborne germs and contaminants. Plate covers also help to keep food warm and at their ideal temperature for serving when transporting from the kitchen to the table.
This plate cover is plastic and see through, making it easy to identify which dish is under the cover. The plastic plate cover is durable and will last knocks and bumps, as expected in a busy kitchen. Handwashing is recommended as hot dishwasher water can warp the plastic over time.
The plate cover is 29cm around and would fit plates of similar sizes. It has a slightly domed design, which is great for dishes that stand tall on the plate as the cover can be placed without ruining the dish itself.
Plastic is a great choice for plate covers, especially for back-of-the-house service as the staff can easily identity the dish, lowering the risk of a plate mix up or serving the wrong dish to the wrong person. It's also ideal for food transportation or room service.

Delivery
Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.
Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service.
All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.
Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.

Returning items purchased online
If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of delivery and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition. Please note you are required to arrange the transport of the return to us and cover any cost associated. We recommend that you use a tracked method to ensure this reaches us. We accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, stolen or undelivered packages. Please also put a note containing your order number in the package with the items.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.
Special Orders In the event that an item ordered is not currently in stock, or if the quantity ordered exceeds our standard inventory levels, a restocking fee may be applied. This fee covers the costs associated with procuring and handling the special order. The restocking fee will not exceed 30% of the total value of the affected items. By proceeding with the order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.
If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
