Karahi (also known as Kadai or Kadhai) is a traditional pan (similar to a wok) that is commonly used in Asian cooking. India and Pakistan, in particular.

You may have heard of the curry dish "Karahi”. The dish is named after this traditional pan used to cook the meal.

A heavy-duty aluminium pan, similar to a wok but with a flatter base to ensure a more even heat distribution to its contents quickly; this means less cooking time for you or your chefs and less chance of burning any food, allowing you to spend more time with your diners and less time worrying about possible hotspots during cooking.

The pan has been designed to allow you to ensure all of the ingredients can be easily combined together. The high walls of the pan allow for this, so you can ensure all your dishes will be well brought together before it reaches your customer.

With strong and sturdy aluminium handles, the pan is easy to use for both professional chefs and home cooks.

The aluminium lid keeps food hot until it's time to serve it, whether this be in the oven or just in the pan itself making it a wonderful addition to any Indian restaurant or takeout, as well as any business or household that appreciates creating delicious curries and rice dishes.

Delivery

Free delivery on all orders over £60 (ex vat) and up to 30kg. Applies to UK mainland (UK Mainland excl. Highlands and Islands) and items held in stock only.

Orders under £60 are charged at £6.95 +VAT for delivery. All orders are dispatched with a Fast Courier Service. 

All deliveries are kerb side only by our courier partners.

Please be aware that orders may come in separate deliveries from different locations within the Cooksmill fulfilment centres.

Returning items purchased online

If you purchase a stock item online that you want to return then you can send it back to us within 28 days of the sale and we will refund the value of the items that we receive back in resaleable condition.

Special orders and orders of appliances may incur restocking charges from the manufacturer. This can be up to 30%.

If there was a picking error and you received incorrect items we will arrange for a replacement.

If you receive any damaged items please email us immediately. We require images of the broken item and the packaging within 48 hours of the goods being signed for to process your claim.
